====== Stakeholders Definition ====== In agile project management, it is essential to have a clear understanding of the stakeholders, team members, and respective roles. The PSL-Agile Excel Template offers dedicated sheets to define and manage these aspects. ===== Define Organisations ===== {{:psl-agile-excel:manual:define_organizations_sheet.png?nolink|}}\\ Fill out the "Stakeholder.Organizations" sheet with the organisations involved in the project. For each organisation, you may define the following properties:\\ ID: A unique identifier of the organisation.\\ Name: The name of the organisation.\\ Type: Organisation type in the scope of each role in the project, e.g., Customer, Performing, Sub-Contractor.\\ Domain: The type of industry or domain to which the organisation operates.\\ Email: The organisation's primary contact email.\\ Mobile: The organisation's primary mobile phone.\\ Postal Address: The organisation's postal address.\\ Notes: Additional notes or information relevant to the organisation. ===== Define People ===== {{:psl-agile-excel:manual:define_people_sheet.png?nolink|}}\\ Fill out the "Stakeholder.People" sheet with the people involved in the project. For each person, you may define the following properties:\\ ID: A unique identifier for the person.\\ Name: The full name of the person.\\ Org Name: The organisation to whom the person is associated (in the project scope).\\ Role: The person's role within the project.\\ Academic Level: The academic qualification of the person.\\ Email: Person's primary contact email.\\ Mobile: Person's primary mobile phone.\\ Notes: Additional notes or information relevant to the person. ===== Define Team ===== {{:psl-agile-excel:manual:define_team_sheet.png?nolink|}}\\ Fill the sheet "Team" with the people directly involved in the project, i.e., the people you may be interested in assigning concrete tasks (e.g., later in the Kanban board or Sprint backlogs). In general, these individuals shall be previously defined in the sheet "StakeholdersPeople", and thus, you may copy them by clicking on the "Update From StakeholdersPeople" command (available from the PSL-Agile ribbon tab). You may also define multiple teams and even teams with sub-teams by using the "part of" relationship between these items. For each team item (i.e., either a team member or a team), you can define the following properties:\\ ID: A unique identifier for the team item.\\ Name: Name of the team item.\\ Type: Type of the team item: either a Person or a Team.\\ Role: General project role of a team member, e.g., Sponsor, Project Manager, Team Leader, Team Member.\\ Part Of: Define if the team member is part of a team (e.g., department or other organisational entity).\\ Report To: Define the team's reporting structure or hierarchy.\\ Technical Skills: Technical skills required or shown by a team or team member.\\ Other Skills: Additional skills or expertise required or shown by a team or team member.\\ Description: Brief description of the team or team member.\\ ==== Actions ==== **Update From StakeholdersPeople (Premium)**: Command (available from "PSL-Agile | Team") that streamlines the process of populating the "Team" sheet with the people previously defined in the "StakeholdersPeople" sheet. This command allows you to copy the people defined in your project, ensuring consistency and efficiency in team management. Effectively defining your project's stakeholders, team members, and their roles is fundamental to the success of your project. It enhances communication, collaboration, and overall understanding, fostering a more productive and efficient project environment.
